Today marks the 60th anniversary of one of the greatest television programmes ever made. No one really at the BBC back in the 1960s would have known on how big a small science-fiction show would become in the future. Everything from making careers of big names in television to having friends come together and bond over.
One notable thing in the show's very long history. Was that in 1989, or 1990 if you want to be pedantic. Peter Creegan did what Michael Grade and Johnathan Powell wanted to do. Cancel the show we all love. Ever since that moment. People have wondered... what would have happened if the cancellation did not happen.
Doctor Who: Beyond 1989 has been one of those series that took a more... in depth look into what could have happened. With the original run being from April 2020 to Autumn 2021, before a reboot began later that year and was released in a very bad way to April earlier this year.
Next year, me and co-showrunner, Space Shark Productions will be starting Doctor Who: Beyond 1989 all over again, back with Season 27 in 1990. With a special subtitle we have called this as "Beyond 1989 - Reborn".
We do not have a start-date for this series as we want to get a ton of posts written before we can release them in either a weekly or bi-weekly order. But, we hope to have more news in early next year.
